Back to France! Day Six: Lazy Day

On our last full day in France two of the couples went on a hike to see another ruinous castle and Bill and I hung out with the other couple playing board games and puttering around the house. It was a really relaxing and fun end to the trip.

When all eight of us get together, we have a grand old time. The large group makes it a bit of a challenge  to eat out often (logistics and cost), so when we rent a big house like this one, we find a local market (and in this case, it was a historic outdoor market like what farmer's markets emulate) and everyone buys food for different meals. We also buy wine. Lots and lots of wine. When no one has to be the designated driver, everyone can enjoy!

Our recycling.
Please note that the photo above shows all of our recycling (milk jugs, yoghurt and oil bottles, etc.), not just our wine bottles.
We drank some wine!
However, this photo is all of the wine that eight people drank over seven days. I think it was 24 bottles and one jug. That really only comes to three bottles per person for the week, less than half a bottle per person per day. It just looks like so much when you line it all up like this!

It just means we had a really, really good time whilst in France last Autumn!
