One day last Spring was exceptionally beautiful. I spent the day in York and took photos before and after my shift at the Minster. Enjoy!

Cherry blossoms and daffodils on the hill |
Walking from the train station, I walk along the medieval York city walls. The hillsides on one side of the wall was covered in daffodils, the other side had lovely planted flowers beds.

York through cherry blossoms |
The cherry blossoms were out in full force! And on the train ride home we rode past several ripe fields of rapeseed (called grapeseed in America). What a glorious day!
